Ragnarok Origin Classic
Gravity · Gravity Game Vision
Gravity's official return to the 2002 Ragnarok formula — classic maps, transcendent second jobs and War of Emperium sieges — on a monthly pass rather than a gacha shop, playable on a real PC client as well as mobile.
Worth playing in 2026?
Not enough data for a verdictWe don't have enough sourced review data to give Ragnarok Origin Classic an honest verdict, and we'd rather say that than guess. The gameplay profile and community links below still tell you plenty.
Worth it if
- ✓ Ragnarok Online veterans who want the 2002 formula on an official server
- ✓ Guilds chasing War of Emperium castle sieges
- ✓ Players who would rather pay a flat monthly pass than pull gacha
Skip it if
- ✗ you want your time respected — grind is very high
- ✗ classic-era grind and party dependency — leveling is slow by design
- ✗ touch-first UI carried over from the mobile build
- ✗ brand-new servers with no long-term track record on balance or cadence

Notes & links
Launched March 26, 2026 across Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau and Southeast Asia, with an Americas server following on July 23, 2026 (US, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Argentina and Peru). Gravity ships a genuine Windows client from the official site alongside the Google Play and App Store builds — an Android emulator is not required. Monetization is a monthly pass that can also be unlocked with in-game gold coins; Gravity's stated position is that it does not sell stats. The Tyr Cup esports circuit carries a US$320,000 prize pool for the Americas region alone.
