Privacy Policy
Draft for the MVP testing period — last updated July 2026.
What we store
Browsing MMOlist requires no account. Features that store data are always opt-in:
- Discord sign-in (guild listings, player cards, applications): we receive your Discord username, ID, and avatar from Discord via OAuth. We never see your password or email contents.
- MMO resumes store the profile and game history you enter. You control whether a resume is public; private resumes and their entries are visible only to you.
- Newsletter and game-alert signups store your email address in a write-only list used solely to send you those emails; every email includes an unsubscribe link. Subscriber exports and email drafts are restricted to the site owner and are never exposed through the public API.
- Content you publish — guild listings, looking-for-group cards, and structured applications — is stored in our database and, for listings and cards, visible to everyone. Applications are visible only to you and the guild you applied to.
- Local drafts: in demo mode, listings and application history live only in your browser's storage and never reach our servers.
Retention and email choices
Public listings remain until you delete them. Applications and resumes remain until the associated account is removed. Email subscription records remain until you unsubscribe; reply “unsubscribe” to any issue or contact the address below and the record will be removed.
Analytics
We use page and event analytics to count visits and measure which features get used. This runs through Vercel Analytics (cookieless, no cross-site tracking) and Google Analytics 4. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Removal
Delete your guild listing or player card from the site at any time; deleting removes it from our database. To remove your account entirely, or for any privacy question, email adamxgsb@gmail.com.
Third parties
Auth and database hosting by Supabase; site hosting and analytics by Vercel; audience analytics by Google (Google Analytics); sign-in by Discord. Each processes data under its own policy. Game banner artwork is publisher promotional material or identification imagery, credited in our public repository.
