Co-founded Cryptic Studios in 2000 and designed City of Heroes and City of Villains, directing design across all Cryptic games as chief creative officer through Star Trek Online's 2010 launch. He later ran Daybreak's Austin studio (Dimensional Ink) around DC Universe Online, founded NetEase's Jackalope Games, and returned as CEO of Cryptic Studios in January 2026.
