Created Battle.net at Blizzard, then left in 2000 to co-found ArenaNet, where he was president for nineteen years across the creation of Guild Wars and Guild Wars 2 — personally serving as GW2's game director until stepping back around 2017. He departed ArenaNet in October 2019 to found ManaWorks and 'make small games again'.
