The public face of New World for years, Lane fronted Amazon Games' MMO through its huge 2021 launch, the post-launch recovery, and the console-focused New World: Aeternum relaunch he revealed at Summer Game Fest 2024. He handed the game director role to Katy Kaszynski in May 2025 and moved to another role within Amazon Games.
