Two-man Swedish company of Fredrik Tolf and Björn Johannessen, self-described university dropouts who built Haven & Hearth as the game they wanted to play. The pair also developed the colonial-horror MMO Salem, then rebuilt Haven & Hearth from scratch in 3D for its 2015 relaunch, and run the game to this day funded by subscriptions.
