Webzen Inc.
A South Korean developer and publisher founded in April 2000 and headquartered in Seongnam. Webzen is known for MU Online, launched in 2001, and has extended the MU property across sequels, spin-offs and mobile titles while publishing third-party online games through its own global portal. It listed on the KOSDAQ in 2003 and absorbed NHN Games in a 2010 merger. The company is independent — it has no corporate parent.
